Daredevil #40: The Fallen Hero! #40

About this issue

Daredevil, the Man Without Fear, returns in "The Fallen Hero!", a classic Silver Age adventure from Marvel Comics, dated May 1968 and crafted by Stan Lee and Gene Colan. Acting on the orders of the mysterious Exterminator, the super-powered Unholy Three have used their deadly T-guns to send Deborah Harris into another time continuum. Her disappearance has left Foggy Nelson shattered, and Matt Murdock is determined to uncover the truth. Prowling the rooftops as Daredevil, he sets out to find the costumed villains and learn who is pulling their strings, while guarding against a strange new weapon. This issue showcases Gene Colan's moody, dynamic artwork, with dramatic shadows, sweeping city skylines and acrobatic action, alongside Stan Lee's trademark exuberant narration. It is a great pick for fans of vintage Marvel, collectors of 1960s comics and readers who want to see the Man Without Fear in his early days as a hero of New York's streets. Mystery, rooftop chases and a ticking sense of danger combine in this bold chapter of the long-running Daredevil series. Buy now and start reading online instantly in your browser.
