About this issue
Four people dead. Three missing. And a ditch full of bodies deep in the Białowieża Forest, just miles from the Belarusian border. She was supposed to be at her best friend's wedding. Instead, the star reporter of NewsTV is racing into the wilderness, angry, starving and certain this is the story that will make her name. The police call it a drunken brawl gone wrong. She knows better: nobody sends forensic teams from across the country for a village knife fight. What she doesn't know is that she is not the only one hunting here. For a thousand years, Navgor guarded the gates of Nav, the Slavic realm of the dead. When the gates broke and its demons escaped into our world, he was cast out for his failure. Now he walks the earth as the Warden of the Dead, bound to drag every escaped creature back to hell, and to find an angel hidden among mortals thousands of years ago. Something has been feeding in Białowieża. The reporter wants the truth. Navgor wants what killed them. Only one of them knows what it really is. The first issue of Navgor: Slavic Avenger, an E-ComicBooks Original. Slavic folklore reborn as raw, modern horror.
