Daredevil #2: The Evil Menace of Electro! #2

About this issue

Here comes Daredevil, the Man Without Fear, in his second-ever Silver Age adventure! Blind lawyer Matt Murdock, whose other senses have been heightened to superhuman levels, faces one of the most dangerous super-criminals of the era: the crackling, high-voltage Electro, who first appeared in The Amazing Spider-Man #9. As Murdock's law practice with partner Foggy Nelson gets an unexpected visit, the Fantastic Four's rocky-skinned strongman, the Thing, bursts in with a legal problem of his own and a very short temper. It is a brief but memorable guest appearance, so don't blink or you'll miss him! Then the sparks begin to fly as Daredevil in his original yellow-and-black costume takes on an enemy who can unleash devastating electrical power. Can a blind hero beat an arch-villain who turns the city lights into a weapon? Packed with classic early Marvel charm, punchy dialogue, dynamic action and a Daredevil costume you will not see in later issues, this 1960s comic is a must-have for collectors and fans of Marvel's Man Without Fear. Expect Silver Age thrills, wisecracking heroes and a cover-dated June adventure that helped shape the character.
