Spawn #115

About this issue

Spawn #115 continues "The Bridge" with Part II, a moody supernatural tale from Todd McFarlane's long-running dark hero series, published by Image Comics in February 2002. Ben Nakadai is an American businessman on a trip to Japan, the land of his ancestors. A restless sleeper haunted by cryptic dreams, he has been told by the mysterious Mykoto that the Nakadai name is a storied one in Japan. Now, as a tale of ghosts and endless corridors unfolds, Ben finds himself drawn into the past: a ruined temple uncovered by a resort development, an ancient ornate box, and a crew of men who would rather not risk their lives for history. Written by Brian Holguin with plot by Holguin and McFarlane, and drawn by Angel Medina with a team of inkers, this issue offers atmospheric storytelling, rich night-time colours and a striking cover by Greg Capullo and Todd McFarlane. Expect folklore, creeping dread and the gothic style that made Spawn a landmark of independent comics. Ideal for fans of supernatural horror, Japanese ghost stories and dark superhero comics.
