Spawn #112

About this issue

Hell's soldier is back in the shadows of the city in Spawn #112, the sixth chapter of the dark saga "The Kingdom". Created by Todd McFarlane and written by Brian Holguin, this issue plunges you into a world where vengeance, damnation and fragile hope collide. Spawn has escaped the grasp of his enemies, but the war against the self-proclaimed prophet Simon Pure is far from over. As night falls over the city, a cleansing begins: cloaked figures drop from the skyline like a black plague, tearing through the streets while terrified citizens scatter below. The atmosphere is thick with menace, and nothing is quite what it seems. With moody pencils by Angel Medina, layered inks and richly coloured pages, plus a striking cover by Greg Capullo, this issue delivers the gothic horror and supernatural action that made Spawn a landmark of independent superhero comics. A recap of the previous issue helps newcomers jump in, so you can dive straight into the nightmare. If you love dark fantasy, brooding antiheroes and over-the-top infernal imagery, this is a chapter you will not want to miss. Start reading online instantly in your browser and step into the night of the cleansing right now.
