Spawn #92: Black Cat Bones Part 2 #92

About this issue

Spawn #92 continues the dark "Black Cat Bones" storyline from Image Comics, with plot by Brian Holguin and Todd McFarlane and moody, fiery artwork by Greg Capullo and Danny Miki. In the previous chapter, a young runaway named Renee had her courage tested in an abandoned house. Then Mark, the sinister master of that house, drugged her and began a sacrificial ceremony, until Spawn stepped in. Mark has a hypnotic hold over those around him, and now he craves the power that belongs to the Hellspawn himself. This issue pits Spawn against a charismatic and unsettling adversary who offers a twisted bargain: exchange powers and lives, or face an eternity in the chains of Hell. With caged captives, blazing hellfire and a villain who gloats over his own good fortune, the story builds a tense, nightmarish confrontation. Capullo's dynamic, ink-heavy pages and Dan Kemp and Brian Haberlin's glowing infernal colours make this a standout chapter for fans of supernatural horror, dark fantasy and gritty superhero comics. Perfect for long-time Spawn readers and for newcomers who enjoy atmospheric, edgy storytelling. Buy now and start reading online instantly in your browser.
