Wolverine: Origins #28 – Original Sin: Prologue #28

About this issue

Logan has spent a century fighting those who would manipulate him, and now the past he fought so hard to recover is coming back to hurt him. In Wolverine: Origins #28, the opening chapter of the "Original Sin" storyline, Wolverine faces one of the most personal challenges of his life. After tracking down and capturing his long-lost son, Daken, Logan holds him in chains inside a hidden cave in Northern California. Daken is as vicious and ruthless as his father, and he blames Logan for the death of his birth-mother. Under the shadow of the mysterious Romulus, Logan must work out how to free his son from the influence that has shaped him. Then an unusual opportunity appears: Daken wakes up and has no idea who he is. With every word a possible trigger for his memories and his programming, Logan must decide what to say, and how much of the truth he can risk telling. Written by Daniel Way with dramatic, shadow-heavy art by Mike Deodato and colors by Rain Beredo, this is a tense, claws-out family drama for fans of Wolverine, Daken and dark superhero storytelling.
