Wolverine: Origins #6

About this issue

Logan. James Howlett. Weapon X. Wolverine. In Wolverine: Origins #6, the world's most relentless mutant faces the consequences of a past he has only just recovered. Having learned from Emma Frost that he has a son, Logan has surrendered the deadly Muramasa Blade to Cyclops for safekeeping, afraid of what he might do with the one weapon on Earth that can kill him. Now, adrift in the cold and the dark, he hears a seductive whisper of death that promises to take all the pain away. Is it a temptation he can resist, or a chance he would be a fool not to take? Written by Daniel Way and drawn by Steve Dillon, this issue pairs gritty, atmospheric storytelling with a striking Joe Quesada cover showing Wolverine bound in coils and snared in a trap. A recap page on the opening spread brings new readers up to speed on Logan's lost memories, his rage in the Vietnam jungles and his clash with Nuke, so you can jump right in. If you love dark, brooding superhero stories with a brutal edge and a hero haunted by his own history, this chapter of the Origins run delivers.
