Wolverine: Origins #24

About this issue

Wolverine and Deadpool collide in this blood-soaked, darkly funny issue of Wolverine: Origins, written by Daniel Way with art by Steve Dillon. Two of Marvel's most dangerous mercenaries face each other claws-to-blades on the cover, and inside, the story opens in a scorched desert where nothing is quite what it seems. Deadpool wakes under a merciless sun in a strange and baffling situation, with only a very unusual companion for conversation. The dialogue is razor-sharp, absurd and unpredictable, mixing surreal humour with sudden shocks of violence in the series' trademark style. If you enjoy the irreverent side of the Marvel Universe, anti-heroes with healing factors and a gritty, deadpan art style, this issue delivers a quick, punchy read. It is part of the long-running Wolverine: Origins series, which explores the dark past and brutal present of Logan, and it works as an entertaining entry point for fans of Deadpool's chaotic charm. Please note: this issue carries a parental advisory for violence and strong content, so it is best suited to mature teens and adults.
