Wolverine: Origins #20

About this issue

Wolverine has spent a century fighting those who tried to use him for his savage claws, heightened senses and miraculous healing factor. After years of brainwashing, torture and reprogramming, his long-lost memories have finally returned, and he is now on a mission to punish the conspirators who wronged him. In Wolverine: Origins #20, written by Daniel Way with art by Steve Dillon, the story looks back to World War II. Wolverine crosses paths with Captain America and his young partner Bucky during a mission against Hydra's Baron Strucker. There he discovers that his own handlers are in league with Strucker, and he receives an order that could change everything: kill Captain America. Set against the shadow of Captain America's death after the Civil War, this issue gives a gritty, tense look at the first meeting of two iconic heroes. It features a striking painted cover, hard-boiled dialogue and a war-torn backdrop. It is a great pick for fans of Wolverine, Captain America and classic Marvel wartime stories.
