Wolverine: Origins #12

About this issue

Wolverine has spent a century fighting those who tried to use him as a weapon. Now, with his memories restored, he is hunting the conspirators who wronged him – and trying to reach the son he never knew he had. In Wolverine: Origins #12, the hunt takes a dark and unsettling turn. Freed from his captors but still reeling from a brutal confrontation with his own son, Daken, Wolverine is on the run. Meanwhile, a long-lost threat has returned from the grave and found an unlikely host. On a quiet suburban night, a father's bedtime routine is interrupted by something that looks like his child but feels very wrong. Written by Daniel Way with moody, grounded art by Steve Dillon, this issue mixes feral action, family tragedy and creeping horror. A striking cover by Joe Quesada shows a shadowy menace stalking the clawed hero from above. If you enjoy gritty superhero stories with a dangerous edge, mutant intrigue and cliffhanger storytelling, this chapter of Wolverine's saga is a must-read.
