Thorgal 24 – The Battle of Asgard #24

About this issue

The Battle of Asgard is the twenty-fourth album in Thorgal, the acclaimed European saga of Viking myth, magic and adventure, with artwork by Grzegorz Rosiński and script by Yves Sente. Thorgal, the proud wanderer raised among Vikings, has followed the trail of those who took his loved ones, and it leads him to the very gates of Asgard, the fortress-realm of the gods. Storm-lashed seas, towering cliffs and a hostile stronghold await. Openly marching in would be suicide, so the hero must rely on cunning, patience and the cover of night. As old enemies, armed warriors and strange, monstrous creatures converge, the stage is set for a great confrontation where courage and loyalty will be tested to the limit. Rosiński's painterly, atmospheric pages bring northern legend to life with breathtaking landscapes, expressive faces and dramatic battle scenes. This digital edition is part of the Europe Comics line, presenting the best of European comics in English translation. Whether you are a longtime follower of Thorgal's journey or a newcomer fond of Norse mythology and epic fantasy, this album delivers rich storytelling and stunning art.
