Thorgal 22: I, Jolan #22

About this issue

Join Thorgal's family in one of the most celebrated European fantasy adventure sagas. In "I, Jolan", the young son of the Viking-born hero takes centre stage, as the boy sets out into a wild and dangerous world with his companions at his side. Drawn by master artist Grzegorz Rosinski and scripted by Yves Sente, this album blends Norse legend, myth and fantasy with sweeping landscapes and richly painted characters. Archers, warriors and young adventurers press through untamed wilderness where ancient creatures lurk, and every step brings new peril. A towering monstrous giant looms in the forest, putting the courage and loyalty of the group to the test. Thorgal is a landmark of Franco-Belgian comics, loved for its lush artwork, mythic atmosphere and emotional family story. This volume works as an exciting entry for readers who enjoy epic fantasy, Viking-age adventure and beautifully illustrated graphic novels, and it also rewards long-time fans who have followed the saga of Thorgal, Aaricia and their children. Originally published in French as "Moi, Jolan" in 2007, this English edition is presented in full digital format. Start reading online instantly in your browser, right after purchase.
