Thorgal: Aniel #28

About this issue

After a long quest, Thorgal has finally found his kidnapped son Aniel, but the reunion is anything but joyful. The little boy has been possessed by the evil spirit of the sorcerer Kahaniel, has aged several years and has been grievously wounded. He appears doomed. Thorgal, Aniel and their companions have escaped Bag Dadh, a city under siege by the forces of Magnus, yet the road home promises to be full of danger. Hunted, weary and far from the Viking lands, the hero is more determined than ever to reunite with the rest of his family. Nothing, not gods, not men, will stand in his way. Thorgal is one of the most beloved European adventure series, blending Viking saga, myth, fantasy and science-fiction elements. Grzegorz Rosiński's richly painted artwork, here paired with Yann's script, brings a wild, atmospheric world to life, from lush landscapes to strange mounted beasts and fierce warriors. This chapter is an ideal read for fans of epic quests, family drama and legendary heroes, and it continues the saga of the exiled Viking and his family.
