At The Laird's Command (Sword and Thistle Book 3)

About this book

Laird John Macrae is in love with a woman whose reputation he ruined. With his castle at Eilean Donan under siege and a traitor hidden within its walls, he counts his days as numbered. What he wants most is to keep his clan safe and to protect Heather, the spirited crofter's daughter he took as his mistress and cannot now shield with the protection of his name. He believes his kinsman, Ian Macrae, can give her the safety he cannot. To save her from enemies who would use her against him, the proud and hardened warrior must find the strength to let her go. But Heather has grown used to the unusual demands of her laird, and the passion between them has deepened into real love. When he commands her to seduce his kinsman, she is heartbroken. Will she obey, and will they ever find their way back to each other? At the Laird's Command is the third book in Laurel Adams's Sword and Thistle series of historical Highland romances. At about 48,000 words, it combines a heartfelt love story with castle-siege intrigue and explicit adult content, including menage scenes, domination and discipline, and other dark kink themes. It is intended for adult readers only. Buy now and start reading online instantly in your browser, with no waiting and no download needed.
