About this issue
Wally West is on a mission, and it takes him far from home. In The Flash #36, part of DC's All In era, the Fastest Man Alive sets his sights on Metropolis for a super-sized field trip, with the Speed Force blazing a bright golden trail through the city's gleaming streets. Written by Ryan North with art by Gavin Guidry and colors by Adriano Lucas, this chapter of "The Speed Was Power, and the Speed Was Joy" (Part VI) mixes sharp humor, a cheerful sense of wonder and super-speed action. Wally's witty narration guides you through a sparkling Metropolis while he hunts for Superman, checks in on the city's other notable residents and keeps a wary eye on a certain scheming villain. If you enjoy lighthearted, clever superhero storytelling with vivid color, kinetic energy and a lead who is as funny as he is fast, this issue is a great pick. It also works well for readers who love Superman-family crossovers, with footnotes pointing to events elsewhere in the DC Universe. Pick up The Flash #36 and race through Metropolis with Wally West.
