About this issue
Go, go, Power Rangers! Mighty Morphin Power Rangers #3 from BOOM! Studios brings the legendary team back in a vivid, action-packed issue written by Marguerite Bennett with art by Phillip Sevy and colors by Joshua Jensen. This chapter takes a more personal turn as it looks back at a Ranger's life after the armor. Its opening pages follow a former Pink Ranger, a gymnast who gave up her place on the team to chase her own dreams at the Pan-Global Games. The story asks what it means to be chosen, what it means to choose yourself, and how a hero's legacy inspires kids around the world. Sevy's dynamic, expressive pencils and Jensen's bright colors capture both the high-flying martial-arts action and the quieter emotional beats. Lettering by Ed Dukeshire keeps the narration clear and lively. The issue also features a striking cover by Balám with colors by Raúl Angulo, and this edition includes two cover images. Whether you grew up with the 90s TV series or you are discovering Angel Grove's heroes for the first time, this issue offers nostalgia, heart and superhero spectacle in one 22-page story.
