About this issue
Batman's All In era reaches a turning point in Detective Comics #1112, "Shattered Memories...", the finale of the Flight storyline. The Dark Knight joins forces with Green Arrow, Black Canary, Robin and other allies in a story that mixes street-level detective work with hard-hitting superhero action. The issue opens in Star City, deep inside the Arrow Cave. Batman has brought a troubled young woman there and promises her nervous protector that she is no longer a threat. Tension runs high as old wounds, family bonds and painful questions come to the surface. Who is Arabella, what has she been through, and who is still missing from her life? With moody green-toned art, expressive character acting and an emotional hook, this chapter shows that Gotham's World's Greatest Detective is at his best when the case is personal. It is a good pick for fans of Batman, the Green Arrow and Black Canary team-up, and character-driven superhero drama. The issue also includes a preview of the upcoming Batman: Bad Seeds event from Matt Fraction and G. Willow Wilson.
