About this issue
A new story starts here! In Absolute Wonder Woman #23, DC's bold reimagining of the Amazon princess takes a darker turn as the war between gods draws closer. High above the mortal world stands Olympus, the crumbling, overgrown home of Ares, God of War. When a mysterious, armored figure climbs the ruined steps and calls out into the shadows, an ancient and terrible presence answers. Words are sharp, tempers are short, and nobody in this family is shy about showing contempt. With its striking, unconventional Absolute Universe look, moody colour palette and daring page layouts, this issue is a perfect jumping-on point for new readers as well as a treat for fans following Diana's radically different path. Mythic menace, family tension and a looming war collide in a chapter built around one question: what will a god demand, and what will it cost? If you love mythology-driven superhero stories, dark fantasy atmosphere and comics that look unlike anything else on the shelf, this issue belongs in your collection. Read Absolute Wonder Woman #23 online instantly in your browser, with no waiting and no downloads required.
