About this issue
Planet-sized thrills arrive in this bumper 48-page issue of 2000 AD, the legendary British weekly of science fiction mayhem. Prog 2497 is hosted by Tharg the Mighty, alien editor extraordinaire, and packs in a full lineup of serials from the galaxy's finest storytellers. Judge Dredd faces the next chapter of The Oubliette, as the Mega-City One lawman, imprisoned in a mysterious dungeon, fights his way through its levels in a tale of dark magic and ancient secrets. Elsewhere, Brink: The Call of the Void takes you to the cramped, overcrowded habitats of a ruined future Earth, where a Habitat Security investigator uncovers trouble in the making. The Fall of Deadworld: Justice continues the war against the Dark Judges, while Nightmare New York brings a gritty, supernatural-tinged 1845 Manhattan to life. Young Death: Grave Consequences follows a rising and dangerous psychopath, and the issue also features Judge Rico: The Finders and a Future Shock, And Now the Fireworks, full of cautionary twists. Whether you are a long-time Squaxx dek Thargo or a newcomer, this issue is a great jumping-in point for British comics at their sharpest. Start reading online instantly in your browser.
